"Fashion anticipates, and elegance is a state of mind... a mirror of the time in which we live, a translation of the future, and should never be static" - Oleg Cassini

DNKY watches pull it out the bag again this year

I can never resist a DKNY watch. When I saw the white ceramic AW2010 one, it looked so amazing on my wrist I had to see it on over 10 times then decided in my own mind I want it now.

This to die for watch is so eye catching everyone will tell you "OMG I love your watch" which always makes a girl feel great. Looking mighty expensive yet costing a cracking £165, I will be adding this beauty to my christmas wish list.

December 2010 winter ankle boot lust

These Alexander McQueen ankle boots demonstrate that he may be gone but he is certainly not forgotten. These £2195 mock croc cross stunners are so signature McQueen full of vintage detailing with an essence of uniqueness.
Hiking boots are big this season. These Nicolas Kirkwood for Erdem showstoppers ooze confidence all on their own with the multicoloured silk patterns making them a sure fired item to add to any fashionista's wish list. For £71o they will make an expensive Christmas present but they sure look worth it.

Be the best dressed for the blizzard

Slade grey knitwear, snowflake printed sweaters and cable knit hats will set you right for the winter chill we had not prepared ourselves for.

Gone our the days when winterwear appeared dull and ever so challenging to work as a look, you can now look super sexy and stylish during the freezing temperatures whilst keeping warm and snug.

Wear chunky knitwear with skinny belts to recreate D&G's popular AW 10 look decked out with ski goggles pushed back on the forehead.

Shearling ankle boots, shearling over-the-knee boots, shearling coats... did I forget shearling hats, bags and gloves are all huge this season and available across a wide range of high street to high end stores. Hang on to your shearling buys as this will be a trend sure to revisit us in 2011.
