New Autumn/Winter Trends arrive
Peter pan collars are set to be huge for Autumn/winter and the best thing about it is that you don't need to buy a whole new top to get this look. Most high street stores are selling the collar, even in embellished designs, on its own so you can instantly update an old wardrobe top.

Valentino for Gap, did I hear that right?
First Lanvin for H&M, now Valentino for Gap, these luxury designers and high street fashion collaborations are just what we can't wait to get our mitts on.
After the huge success of Lanvin for H&M, I was concerned that all the attention might overshadow another interesting high end meets high street collaboration. But instead it couldn't have come at a better time.
The seven-piece Valentino for Gap collection launches this coming Saturday 27th November in London's flagship store from 9.30am and at Dover Street market from 11am. I will definetely be queing for this one so I better set my alarm clock nice and early.
Valentino's creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli regenerate Gap's traditional basics by taking pieces of quintessential utilitarian sportswear whilst introducing soft, feminine tailoring with a romantic twist. Although this collaboration consists of just seven pieces, attention to detail and a lot of time has gone into each piece which includes frill parkas, cargo pants, and tailored jackets with a Valentino finish, the signature bow.
"We love mixing different cultures and we have been excited to mix Gap's timeless essentials with our Roman culture of couture", said the two mastermind's behind the collection. "The collection brings together the iconic world of Valentino and Gap's fashion staples, synthesizing the current trend of combining luxury with basics."
With none of the style or quality lost and the clothing ranging between £89.99 and £149.99, it is exciting to know that the impossible has finally been made possible... having a bit of true Valentino to add to our wardrobes without having to worry about the bank balance!

Nicki Minaj at the AMAs 2010 in a not so subtle dress
With the AMA's officially drawn to a close, there was one lady who really knew how to turn heads at this year's red carpet event, Miss Nicki Minaj.
Rocking a blonde straight wig with green tips, yes that's right I said green tips, Miss Minaj certainly stood out from the crowd, wearing a multicoloured leopard-print Manish Arora sleeveless dress which had 'help me i'm crazy' written all over it.
According to Minaj, the outfit was a representation of what to expect from her new debut album Pink Friday. I presume we should expect to hear a combination of drama, wildness and remotely bizarre tracks if her dress is anything to go by. But then that is what this lady does best.
The eccentric US lyricist told MTV News: "Its just a wierd thing. It looks like it could be a piece on the middle of your table and you picked it up, put some clothing on it, and now you can wear it. It's all about feeling like, 'Grrr."
Let's hope she doesn't pick out anything even more peculiar for next year's event but I guess thats what draws us to all want to write and talk about her.
